Golden Girls… and a Couple Cute Kens
The Best of the Golden Globes 2024 Red Carpet Fashion
Less than two weeks into 2024, awards season fashion is in full swing, epitomizing haute couture. The red carpet on January 7th featured a dazzling array of Hollywood stars from the realms of fashion, film, and entertainment. Instead of categorizing these talented actors, we've organized them by the color spectrum, creating a visual journey from indigo purples to soft lilacs, baby pinks, black and white glamour, and deep reds.
Leading the list is the Queen of television and media, Oprah Winfrey, radiating energy in a hand-beaded indigo gown by Louis Vuitton, paying homage to The Color Purple.
The royal hue extended to lilies, lilacs, and lavenders, with Brie Larson in a perfectly sculpted Prada gown, Hailee Steinfeld in a soft baby pink full-length gown by Prada, and Hunter Schafer in a sheer Prada ensemble exuding Hollywood glamour.
Spring vibes were ushered in with Jennifer Lopez resembling a bouquet of fresh roses in a corseted Nicole + Felicia gown. J.Lo adorned her evening wear with Boucheron’s hummingbird-inspired Hopi collection, embodying strength and elegance.
Power producer Margot Robbie stole the show in a custom Armani Privé gown, rocking Barbie Pink and turning heads alongside a lineup of Kens, including Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu, and President Barbie herself, Issa Rae giving Oscar vibes in gold.
Louis Vuitton's gentlemen, including Bradley Cooper, Colman Domingo, and Barry Keoghan, showcased a punk rock sensibility with confidence, marking a creative renaissance at the luxury fashion house.
Golden Globe winner Emma Stone dazzled in a custom Louis Vuitton gown with hand-embroidered roses, a nod to old Hollywood glamour. Lily Gladstone, the first Native American and Indigenous Woman to win a Golden Globe, shone in a black and white Valentino gown and Bulgari diamonds.
Dior made a star studded statement with an army of leading ladies, including Natalie Portman, Elizabeth Debecki, and Golden Globe winner Ali Wong in a cascading column gown fit for a Grecian Goddess.
Jennifer Lawrence and Rosamund Pike opted for svelte Neo-noir inspired gowns in iconic black. Pike paired her 2019 Christian Dior Couture with a floral gauze veil by Philip Treacy striking a pose that caught the gaze of many in her stare.
Wrapping up the 2024 best-dressed Golden Globes edition, we congratulate all winners and nominees. While the list couldn't include everyone, we applaud the diversity of ensembles and look forward to the next round of applause.
