Luxury Girls and the LV World

Spring has sprung and there is no better place than Louis Vuitton to set the tone for the upcoming season. In the world of luxury, familiarity with your client advisors yields rich rewards that can have a lasting impact on any LV Girl’s social calendar. That's why I was very happy indeed to receive an exclusive invitation from Mimi, my favorite LV Client Advisor at South Coast Plaza, to preview the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2024 collections fresh from the haute couture runways of Paris Fashion Week.

Across the Atlantic, Paris buzzed with a star-studded gala, boasting Academy Award-winning celebrities like Emma Stone, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Connelly, and Da'Vine Joy Randolph seated front row as Ghesquière unveiled his forthcoming Fall/Winter 2024 collection.

Here in West Coast climate of California cool, things are just beginning to heat up in anticipation of a fresh Spring awakening. The excitement and energy at the Orange Country LV flagship store was in full effect, as the newest RTW collections hit the sales floor featuring the latest collection of handbag trends, small leather goods, and heel-toe pumps to hit the town in a fashion forward stride.

The collection's essence lies in a contemporary, travel-ready wardrobe inviting a subtle air of feminine curiosity and playfulness, perfectly aligned with the season's trends. Mimi outfitted me in a beautiful Hooded Wrap Coat with Monogram Signature playing peekaboo with the timeless motif, showcasing the warmth of soft textures that easily adapt to seasonal changes while maintaining timeless design principles.

Not to be outdone, the LV Knot Pumps feature handcrafted lambskin knots at the heel and toe, exuding twisted elegance.

Amidst the myriad of exceptional offerings, several favorites found their way onto my LV wishlist, including the adorable Side Trunk PM, the super chic Coussin BB, and the iconic Speedy Bandoulière 25 in Malletage—a testament to the French Malletier's signature iconography.

Once again, Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2024 collection embodies a breath of fresh air, welcoming an era of creative renewal, enthusiastic joy, and timeless elegance. With Nicolas Ghesquière's continued tenure as the artistic director of Louis Vuitton Women's collections, his playful yet sophisticated pieces reflect a sense of fun, ease, and beauty within the empowered spirit of savoir-faire.
